Higher Steaks

Higher Steaks aims to disrupt the nearly $1T meat industry by utilizing state-of-the-art cell culture techniques. The company intends to make lab-grown sausage, bacon, and other pork products and has already created one of the first bacon and pork belly prototypes without genetic engineering. By using a small sample of cells from an animal to grow the meat, the company is working to diminish the economic, environmental, and moral issues surrounding the current meat industry. Higher Steaks graduated from the prestigious Pearse Lyons Accelerator in May 2019 and plans to be ready to scale up production and distribution by 2023.
